Chosen.

Did you ever play dodge ball growing up?  I did.  I dreaded it, actually, in grade school PE class.  There were always two captains and then it started.  Yep.  Choosing teams.  Now, if you're athletic, it really wasn't a big deal.  You'd be chosen first.  Then there's the rest of us...wondering when we'd finally be picked! Uhhh...wondering if the captain really wanted us on the team or if we were just the best one left to choose from.  Then the game began!  That's a whole other story!

Whatever your rank in being chosen to play dodge ball, did you know you are always chosen FIRST by the Lord?  Yea?  Good. 

So, you know it, but do you believe it?  What was that?  Maybe? Yes? No? 

Well, whatever your answer is, I hope you come to the point of being able to say with your whole heart, “YES!!”  It may take some time to come to this, but persevere!

Another question: What provokes you to say “Halleluia Amen”?  Is it only when things are going well and according to your plan?  How about when there are struggles?  In all things give praise to the Lord!  Join with me today – whether you are in pain, in joy, in trial – to give an “Halleluia Amen!” [1]to the Lord!  Why?

He has chosen you.  He loves you.  He has chosen you to follow Him and placed you right where He wants you to be.  He's walking WITH you!  He'll help you dodge the ball that comes your way!  Believe it.  Trust it.
