Upcoming Retreats
Have you thought about the priesthood or religious life? No matter how old you are, there's something for you! Do you need some time to get away from distractions to pray about it, so you can listen?
Upcoming Retreats
We all have a calling to be holy. There are different calls to holiness, whether it be the call to marriage, singlehood, priesthood, or religious life. Sometimes it can be tough trying to figure out where the Lord is calling, but all we really have to do is be open and the Lord will show us the way.
Here are some upcoming retreats that can help a young male or female to discern the Lord's call in their life more deeply:
Veni Si Amas Vocation Retreat
Veni Si Amas (Come if you Love!)
The Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George in Alton, IL invite all young women of 17-30 years of age to Come if you Love.
It doesn't matter if you are seriously discerning or just curious to learn more about what life as a sister is really like! Come one come all.
Retreat includes:
- Praying with the Sisters
- Daily Mass
- Vocation Panel
- Convent tour
- Recreation
- Learning about the Sister's life
Arrival: Friday night between 6:30 and 7pm.
Come and See Weekend
Come and See Weekends are an opportunity for high school age men, considering a vocation to the priesthood, to visit Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.
Join us for a few days while you experience the Cardinal Glennon College Program. Meet the students and staff of the Seminary. Visit Saint Louis University where the collegian seminarians attend classes. Associate with other high school age men discerning the possibility of priesthood.
The weekend includes staying at the Seminary from Saturday through Monday. On Sunday your family is invited to join us for the 9:00 a.m. Mass, followed by brunch. On Monday you will be able to experience life at Saint Louis University as a seminarian.
