Hi Everyone!

I can imagine everyone had incredible experiences during their travels to Germany and the Netherlands. What is one spiritual highlight of yours?

For me, at one point during the vigil with the Holy Father an instrumental of the Ave Maria was played. It was beautiful! During this time I was reminded of Mary’s presence with us. I was surrounded by thousands of people from around the world, most of us holding a candle. This was an incredible sight as well! She is our mother and she was looking out on us that night, encouraging us that we could be a light in the world.

I look forward to hearing your stories as well!

Hi Everyone!!

Are you back in the swing of things? I was wondering if anyone had a funny experience to share? Here’s one fun moment of mine!

After welcoming the Holy Father in Cologne we decided to walk around and explore the city. Liz spotted a group doing the chicken dance. Now, this may not seem important to you, but you see, our two mascots were rubber chickens, namely Brigid and Ermee. So, Liz was pretty excited to see this international group doing this dance. We ran over to join them, but they had finished by the time we arrived. They then asked us what we could teach them? So, now imagine a circle of people doing the hokey pokey and of course, with our rubber chickens!! They video taped us teaching them and we had a blast laughing and dancing with people from all over!

hello everybody

just 19 (or 18 depens on how you count 8-) (kinda weird thing)) days until you all will be in Germany and (even better :-P) the Netherlands. I just wanna wish you all really good days for the big travel, blesses for the travel and a big experience and blessed World Youth day. Hope to meet you all in Sittard (or roermond).

I don’t know about you guys but I am excited about the trip to Cologne for World Youth Day!

What ate you looking forward to the most, Besides the obvious, the POPE!!!?

I am looking forward to the cruise on the Rhine River. It will be really neat to see the country.
