hello all you project LIfers who dont know about the Forum yet. HOw is everyone? I just wanted to drop a line and let you all know how much i love each and every one of you and miss you dearly. I hope the love of God stays present in each of your lives everyday and that you are able to witness His love in each person you pass, no matter where you are or who you are with. God is everywhere and therefore love is everywhere. Be the love you wish to see in the world and it will unconsously spread all over the place. Just pass it on. Ok sorry for my rampant rambling. I just wanted to let everyone know that St. Matthew’s Community Garden was in the St. Louis Review on Friday, July 15, 2005! I thought that it was pretty cool. I saw it and i thought to myself, “Hey! I worked there during Project Life 2005.” So I just thought that you would all like to know and i have the website right here at the bottom of this paragraph. Hi all.
Just wanted to let you know that many of our worksites have contacted me saying how grateful they are for all of the service that you did on Project Life. Many of them were on shock as to how much work you completed, when they told me they were shocked I couldn’t understand why, I knew you would work your tails off! Thank you for being such hard workers, you really were “feet washers”, bringing the light of Christ to so many people around St. Louis. The little you did means so much. Fabulous Job!!!

Hey everyone. At St. Catherine Laboure (XLT place in south county), we have some spots open for Steubenville. Some people decided to drop last minute here leaving us in debt and with OPEN SPOTS!!! I went to XLT last night it was awesome. I got to see my sister from last year. I haven’t seen her sence last year. It was aswesome. Brad Hood did a talk last night. One thing really hit me because it had a lot to do with the theme from Project Life. It’s a little prayer it goes like this”Lord make me little so you can be large.” We are so little but if you can give that little bit up to God then he can make that little bit so big. Another thing that he said that you have to let God love you to love God. So, on the days that you feel how go can love you after everything that you have done remember that you have to let him love you to love him. Remember that he is the most forgiving being in this universe of ours and that he will forgive you no matter what. Both Brads were there last night that was cool. If you missed this XLT then you should head north on July 6 because there is one up here in North County at Holy Trienty Church in St.Ann. It’s awesome time so everyone should come. Listen sorry I know you guys are tired of me talking, but if you go into the chat room and there is no one there then you can invite other people to come in. There should be a thing on the left side that says invite people and then all you have to do is put in the person’s email. That’s it Love you all and God Bless Paul

Thank you all so much for my wonderfull time in St. Louis, during Project Life, by the two XLT’s, at the office of youth ministry and all the extra stuff. you’re so awesome! (Your words: Your all ROCK)

I’m leaving today snik to Arizona for a week, and next friday I’m flying home sweet home. I’m looking forward to see some of you in August!

U-TURNS IN LIFE

Hey ALL, First off my name is Eric Rapp from IHM-St. Louis. I was reflecting about the Project Life retreat while at work on Wed. I would like to do a Shout-Out to the ones that were in my van for most of the retreat. Hey to Julie, Alex, Josh, Amanda, Courtney, and Kirsten. While reflecting about Project Life, I realized I was in the van a lot going to work sites and to different churches in the area. Our van became infamous for making lots of U-or turns or having to turn around. ( sorry Sister and Liz). Which brings me to the subject line of this post. While thinking about all of the U-turns I made with the van, I soon realized I have made lots of U-turns in my life. Like in driving the van, I don’t know if it was that I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going or listening to the wrong person for directions or sometimes even following the wrong person, I still was not going in the right direction I needed to go to get to my ultimate destination (heaven) and I needed to constantly make U-turns in my life to get back on track. My van also was the one that got a flat tire and was broke down along the highway. I want to say to my group I am very sorry that they had to sit along the highway for 2 hours. No matter how upset and/or mad we may have been, we could not change the fact that we were stuck and the van was broke down. This act made me realize even more how much God is in control of our lives. Sometimes I feel God stopping my life in my tracks and making me look around where I am before He lets me get started again towards Him. I didn’t intend for this post to be this long but I just kept typing what was in my mind and heart. I will close with this thought. Do you make U-turns in your life to get back on track to reach the ultimate destination?

Hey all, This is Liz Vogel! I just wanted to let you know that Project Life was an amazing week. I thank all of you for the affirmations on Friday night. They meant a lot to all of us leaders. It was comforting to know that I touched so many hearts during the week, even though I didn’t feel that I really did much of anything.
I thank all of you for making the week so powerful. If it wasn’t for all of you and your commitment to service throughout the week, the week wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was. I wish I would’ve gotten to know all of you better, but know that each and everyone of you will be in my prayers. Thanks for inspiring me this week to continue to follow the call that the Lord has given me! I pray that all of you may continue to do little acts of service each and everyday and remember that they might be small to us, but to someone else they might be huge, because little can be much in the hands of Christ.
Thank you my um..uhh..what? family for being so open this week! It was great getting to spend time with all of you.

Hi Everybody, this is your good friend Julie and to some of you your momma. I just wanted to let you all know how awesome you are. I have been bragging about you guys to all my friends and letting them know how amazing the week was. I also just want to remind everyone about all the little things you can do throughout your day. DONT forget that just the smallest thing you do for someone can have the greatest impact on thier day, or life. How about you all try and maybe write somebody a letter. It can be to anybody. An old friend or a grandma or grandpa. Send it in the mail tomorrow. ITs such a small gesture but really now, who doesnt LOVE getting mail.
Ok i think thats enough,. I love you all.
